Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Mexico for Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Mexico exhibited notable trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 75K in late October. Active users saw fluctuations, starting the quarter at around 3.8M and peaking at nearly 3.9M in mid-December before dropping to roughly 3.7M by the end of the year.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a consistent download trend, with weekly downloads increasing from about 13K at the start of the quarter to 16.6K in mid-December. Active users, however, experienced a decline, starting at 667K and ending the quarter at approximately 566K.

Google Earth had a varied download pattern, with a notable spike to 13.9K in late November. Active users increased from around 45K in September to a peak of 60K in late November, before stabilizing at approximately 47K by the end of December.

Tu Tag PASE saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.7K and reaching up to 4.4K by the end of December. Active users also trended upwards, growing from 33.8K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 39.2K by year-end.

Finally, GStreet - Street Map Viewer had modest download numbers, peaking at around 576 in late November. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 543 in late September to 767 in late November, before slightly declining to 734 by the end of December.
